In November of 2006, the FDA imposed a ban on diet products containing certain plant alkaloids. We can't even type the words here because the search engines will block our advertising as they are more concerned with liability issues than the free flow of information. Beyond that, the manufacturer of Lipodrene has introduced a new version of the product which, although it contains an inactive amount of herbal extract, contains none of the plant alkaloids which made the pre-November-2006 so effective and replaced that ingredient with methyl synephrine. So if you see that the Lipodrene contains methyl synephrine as an ingredient, you know it is the new version. The old version, which is what we are offering on this page, does not contain methyl synephrine. It contains the effective herbal alkaloids and is pre-Nov-2006 product - the real stuff. It is terribly misleading and confusing. Both products are yellow hexagon tablets. Both products have 660 mg etched into the tablet. Both products contain 557.5 mg of proprietary herbal blend.
